September 5, 2023 (KW) Chemo session #4 in the books today. The oncology staff that treats me is really great. I’m still not a fan of this particular Pennsylvania-based health system (to which I fondly refer to them as my “country bumpkin hospital”), but the individuals, the nurses, the people that hook me up to chemo every other week, and inquire about how I’m doing, and ask if I want warm blankets or water to drink…they are just so very kind. There’s just got to be a special gene inside people who are called to the medical field.
