My big surgery was on 2/14 and at my follow-up appointment on 2/22, I was declared "NED" - No Evidence of Disease.
That was, unfortuantely, a bit too premature. At my first post-surgery scan on 3/20, they found "disease progression" so back into chemo I go. 😢
I don't have a good attitude this time around - not one of a warrior, not one of someone with a goal/target - like I had before with surgery. And I'm not sure if I'll ever get that good attitude back.
I will be traveling back up to NYC to visit Memorial Sloan Kettering the first week of May. It's time to regroup.
I'll post another update after that and until then, prayers always appreciated.
